A lot of new mobile software beginners are confused about what and how many boxes to buy, they need to work in everything and all brands and…, but that is not good for their start and they have to think before buy any box and study their market first.
These days it is so important to all software technicians to take care when they work with Nokia Phones, as a lot of security levels ( SL1 – SL2 – SL3 ..) shows up and start making a lot of people crying when something goes wrong.
At the old days of GSM and mobile phones there were a few brands and models for each, so it was easy to everyone who is working in this field to catch the both sides Hardware & Software, But now the situation is not the same.
If you try to count how many models for some known brands these days you will discover the huge number of each brand, Let’s start with Nokia which counts more than 200 models old and new and there are more than 450 models of Samsung Brand, More than 120 of Sony Ericsson, And you can complete with LG – BlackBerry – NEC – Alcatel – Motorola – Chinese Phones …etc.
As you can notice these days a lot of programmers start their own project in GSM filed and some of them make a team by the name of a Box or choose special name for it, So if you are one of the big number of GSM workers I am sure it is difficult for you to decide which box of these to buy for your workshop.
