How To Hard Reset | Factory Reset Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 SM-G7102 and SM-G7105

This Tutorial will help you to perform the Hard Reset | Factory Reset operation for your Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 model, The same steps can be used for both SM-G7102 and SM-G7105, Even the SM-G7102T and SM-G7105L, So you should read this guide to learn how to fix many software errors and problems with formatting your device.

Keep in mind that formatting your device will erase all your personal data like messages, Contacts, Photos, Installed applications, Notes...etc, Everything you saved on the device internal memory will be lost forever, So make sure to backup and save any wanted data to an external storage like external memory card, SIM card, Or PC.

The Hard Reset / Factory Reset operation can fix many software related errors and problems:

- After installing bad or unsupported application into your Samsung mobile phone, Which causes your phone to be frozen.

- Before or after installing a new firmware update into your device.
- Before selling the device, To Wipe all your saved personal data.

Before performing the Hard Reset:

- In case your Samsung mobile phone can connect to a computer, Then it is better to make a backup of your saved data using Samsung kies software, You can read this Guide to learn how.

- But in case that is not possible, Then you can check that your phone's battery has enough charging level, Otherwise you should charge it.


Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 SM-G7102 and SM-G7105 Hard Reset Steps:


- Turn your device off.

- Take out any existed SIM or memory card.

- Wait for 10 seconds.

- Press and hold the Volume Up key + Home key, Then press the Power key.

- Keep pressing the keys until Samsung logo appears,Then release The Power Key only.

- When you get Factory reset / System Recovery menu on screen, Release all keys.

- Use the Volume Down key to select Wipe Data / Factory Reset option.

- Use the Power key to confirm the operation.

- You need to use the Volume Down key again to select "Yes -- delete all user data"

- Use the Power key to confirm.

- After performing the hard reset, Select Reboot System Now option, And confirm it using the Power key.

- Now the phone will reboots, Wait for it to be fully on and then you can start using it.


 

New Hard Reset / Factory Reset Method Using Odin3 Flasher:


In case you cannot put the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Into Recovery Mode for any reason, Then you can use this new method to Hard Reset the device so easy, Just follow the below steps:

- Download and Extract Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 ( G7102 - G7105 ) Hard Reset File.

- Download Odin3 flasher.

- Put your phone into Download Mode.

- Run Odin3.exe

- Click on CSC button and Select the Hard Reset file.

- Connect your phone to PC via USB cable, And wait until Odin3 detects the phone.

- Click on Start button and wait until the operation done.

- Now your Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 will be rebooted.

- Done.


Notice: The Hard Reset / Factory Reset operation will delete anything that are saved in your phone's internal memory, So make a backup of your data in case you can access them.
