How To Update Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000 | N8010 To Android 4.4.2 KitKat Firmware Manually

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 has started to get Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware before the GT-N8010, It got more than one version, Like XXUDNE4, XXUDNE5, And XXUDNE6, But now even the GT-N8010 can be updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware, The GT-N8010 got his first KitKat update, It is XXUDNE4 firmware version, for now it is available for UK, France, And Netherlands, But it will be available for more countries too.

This Tutorial will help you to use Odin3 flasher and Stock Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware package to update your Galaxy Note 10.1, The same steps can be used to update GT-N8000 and GT-N8010, Just make sure to select the right firmware files for each model, In this guide we will use the N8010XXUDNE4 version as an example, But you can install any version you want.

Download The Following Files and Programs:

- Odin3 Flasher.
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 USB Driver.
- N8010XXUDNE4 Firmware Update Package, Or you can select any wanted firmware update package, For N8000 Firmwares check here.

Preparation Steps:

1- Download Odin3 flasher and extract it.

2- Extract the N8010XXUDNE4 Firmware Update Package.

3- Download and install the Samsung USB driver.

4- Restart your Computer.

5- Backup any wanted data on your device.

6- Charge your device battery to be at 80% minimum.

7- It is better to make Factory Data Reset, That can keep you away from some errors later.

8- Enable USB debugging option.

Installing XXUDNE4 Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update on your Galaxy Note 10.1:

1- Turn off your device, And take out its SIM and Memory card.

2- Put your Galaxy Note 10.1 into Download Mode.

3- Connect it to your Computer using the USB cable.

4- Wait for a couple of seconds to let your PC recognize the connected device.

5- Run Odin3.exe flasher as Administrator.

6- Make sure that Re-Partition option is not checked.

7- If Odin3 flasher detects your Galaxy Note 10.1 correctly, You will see its COM port number 0:[COMxx]

8- Click on AP button and select: N8010XXUDNE4_N8010BTUDNF1_HOME.tar.md5

9- Click on Start button, Odin3 will begin to install the new firmware on your Galaxy Note 10.1.

10- After the installing is done, Your Galaxy Note 10.1 will be rebooted automatically.

11- When your device is on again, Disconnect it from your PC.

12- Wait until it is completely on, Then check the new installed firmware.

13- Done, Congratulations, You have installed the new XXUDNE4 firmware version on your Galaxy Note 10.1
