- Start to select the firmware files from the extracted firmware folder:

Click PDA button to select CODE_N5100xxxxxx_..._user_mid_noship.tar.md5
Click PHONE button to select MODEM_N5100xxxxxx_REV08_CLxxx...tar.md5
Click CSC button to select CSC_Oxx_N5100Oxxxxxx_..._user_mid_noship.tar.md5

- Put the Galaxy Note 8.0 into Download Mode:

Press and Hold Volume Down key + Power key for 5 seconds, When you see the warning message on screen release both keys and press Volume Up key.

- Use the USB cable to connect your Galaxy Note 8.0 to the computer.

- After Windows detects the device it will install the needed drivers for it, Wait until all is done.

- When Odin program detects your device the ID:COM box will become blue, And you can see the COM port number of your connected device.
